History
The history of the group begins in 1992, when it was a limited company operating out of a 300 m2 building, with a team of three people. Several years later, S2i Devillers has 500 employees, 30,000 m2 of industrial buildings and unique steel expertise in Europe.

Incorporation of Devillers Oxycoupage SARL (limited company) in Héricourt
Business: Service oxygen cutting

Integration of pre-assembly activities. The company acquired new business areas and achieved pole position among supplier groups. |
| 1998 |
Construction of new buildings - Integration of surface treatment and finishing activities.
Capital increase: €1,525,000. Entry into the Top 20 most competitive French companies.
Move. Inauguration of new buildings. |

The company received the business trophy for the Grand Est region.

Creation of Transfométal (pre-assembly of components). Adoption of a "key account" organisation - Continuation of service development: preproduction of sub-assemblies.

Creation of Usinov (pre-machining of components). New business: high-speed machining of flat parts on pendular machine. Third position in the Le Figaro-Coface SCRL awards for the Franche-Comté region. |

Creation of the engineering - technical-sales department. Investment of €9m to increase capacity. Opening of the laser-cutting workshops.
Creation of S2i with a view to centralising the common services of the various sites.

Creation of Stalobrex in Poland.

| 2005 |
Development for export. Devillers Oxycoupage took over the French subsidiaries: Transfométal and Usinov. Expansion of the Héricourt site and reorganisation of flows in a process of ongoing improvement.

14 February, Arcelor Distribution acquired 67% of S2i Devillers. This agreement was the start of a common development strategy based on the desire to perpetuate the growth of the S2i group and to participate in setting up an industrial project based on the "product-service" concept.
Creation of the Ancenis platform.

Investment of €20m, development of laser activities, folding, machining, logistics.
